Balloons

Jace is mesmerized by balloons. He points and oohs and ahhs at them whenever we go to the store. Yesterday at the grocery store, after some cute oohing and ahhing at passing kids holding their own, we got him his very first balloon. He loved it.

As for me, I was just cringing the whole time, waiting for it to pop in his face. Talk about a traumatic event to make him scared of something for the rest of his life! It would be like me watching Jaws at 3 years old...still to this day I won't step foot in the ocean.

But alas, the balloon was tough and survived the beating Jace gave it.

And now that we found out they have complimentary grocery balloons, this will be our new grocery shopping tradition. {Until the day that one pops in his face...}
