DIY oversized sweater into cardigan-NO SEW

5/02/2012
This is actually old news. I made this cardigan around Christmas time, and am just now posting it. (Slacker, I know...)

I bought this b&w striped sweater when I was prego with my J man. It was an XL at Rue 21 on sale for $3.

I simply laid it out flat and cut it straight down the middle, top to bottom.
Easiest project ever!

I have plans to use hem tape and sew on some buttons, but for now this works.

Moral of the story: Next time you see an oversized sweater on a sales rack, even if it's out of season, BUY IT! Easy cardigans, which can be worn even on summer nights.

Are you tired of all the DIY posts yet?

If so, I'm sorry...because there are a lot more to come! I'm addicted!

I can't wait to show you what we are working on with recycled wine bottles. *Hopefully* finishing that with in the next day or two.

Stay tuned lovelies!
